* He weighs 23 lbs 14 oz (~50%) and is 32 inches long (~ 75% I think)
* He's still taking 2 naps a day for the most part (still 1-2 hrs each). We do sometimes skip the morning nap when we have something fun to do with our playgroup friends! If that's the case, he will sometimes sneak in a carseat nap on the way to wherever we're going.
* He's got three molars now and I think all of his canines are either breaking through or about to. It's hard to remember b/c he's been getting so many new teeth in lately.
* He is still a picky eater. For some reason, he will not try new foods. I try, but if he doesn't recognize it, he will not even try it. It's rather frustrating and I am hoping and praying that this is a phase!
* He still will not eat meat, with the exception of Chick-fil-A chicken nuggets and every now and then, I can get him to eat the Tyson "Any-tisers" chicken "fries"...but other than that, he will not even look at meat!
* He can eat A LOT when it is something he likes. Sometimes we wonder how he can fit so much in his little tummy! He is also a fast eater...he shovels!
* He pretends to talk on the phone and it is so cute! He puts a toy phone (or sometimes a remote control) up to his ear and says "hi" in his cute little voice.
* He is starting to play with trucks more. He will push them across the floor now instead of just chewing on them or throwing them! A few times, I've heard him make a little truck sound while playing but I don't know if this is coincidental or not. I know he doesn't know that trucks make a particular sound, but I do think he might be imitating what we do when we play trucks with him.
* He loves closing doors (and sometimes opening them, depending on what kind of door). He will go in his room and close the door now, LOL (of course, I don't let him stay in there with the door closed). He is starting to play in his room more and more. I put a CD player in there and play music so it won't seem so lonely and he will go in and out of there throughout the day.
* He has figured out how to push in the water and ice dispenser on the fridge so we have to keep it on "lock" now at all times! He got water all over the floor (and himself) and shot some ice cubes into his face the other day, LOL.
* He helps me close the refrigerator door and the door to the dish washer. I tell him "push" and he pushes them shut.
* He likes to get on or in small spaces and either just sit there or try lay down on his tummy. (examples: the bottom drawer of the oven, clothes baskets, his highchair tray after pulling it down on the floor, cookie sheets he pulls out of the oven drawer, towels or blankets on the floor)
* He still loves to read books and will now crawl into my lap on his own when he brings me books to read.
* He refuses to give "sugars" anymore but sometimes he will give hugs...which consists of him laying his head on your shoulder and saying "awwwww" like he does when he hugs his stuffed animals!
* He knows who Mama, Daddy, and Caleb are...but still does not say "mama" (insert sad face here). We will ask him "Where's Caleb/Mama/Daddy?" and he will touch whoever we're asking about.
* He loves dogs/puppies and not just his own. He likes stuffed puppies (like Ruff Ruff) and also pictures of puppies (either real pictures or drawings). He can even point out puppies in books.
* He is starting to recognize cows a little (not real cows - we don't see those in these parts!) He can pick out the cow magnet on his Fridge Farm if you ask him where the cow is or to bring you the cow (there are two pieces, a head and a tail and he picks out the head piece).
* He is starting to follow some simple commands/requests. If you ask him "Where's Ruff Ruff?" or say "Go get Ruff Ruff?", he will go find him (most of the time). The first time he did it, we were amazed. We were in the kitchen and he went to his room and found Ruff Ruff in his toy basket and brought him back to the kitchen! He also knows what trucks are so if you ask him to find a truck or "Where's your truck?", he will bring you one.
* He does not like having his teeth brushed very much. I try to tickle him to get him to smile so I can brush the chompers, but it is a task!
* He L-O-V-E-S being chased! He "runs" away just laughing his head off (and yes, he is still walking/running on his knees - more to come on that later).
* He took his very first airplane ride to North Carolina to visit Uncle Travis (Rhett's brother), Aunt Holly, and cousin Cal! He did great!
* and last but not least, he got his FIRST HAIRCUT! (courtesy of Aunt Holly) No more baby curls....and I was a little sad!
Well, that is all I can think of at the moment. I'm sure I've forgotten something. Eventually, I am going to turn my blog posts into a book (http://www.blurb.com/) so I can have all these little memories as a keepsake for us and for Caleb. It's fun looking back at each month to see the things he's learned and the fun things we've done! I'm glad that I've been blogging all of this b/c I have not written one word in his baby book! (bad mom, I know)
Ok, so here are some pictures! I guess I didn't take many pictures this month. Most of these are from our trip to NC. The weather was too cold and dreary to get out much, and the boys both had the sniffles...so we mostly just hung out around the house. I didn't even take many pictures there. Oh well.
Caleb's first airplane ride; 11/4/2010! This looks like a mugshot pose, LOL.
"I'm not impressed with this so far..." *yawn*
Caleb absolutely loved riding in Cal's wagon! (we will get him one in the spring, for sure)
When it was time to go inside, Caleb was NOT happy!
Once inside, he proceeded to throw the BIGGEST fit of his life. He rolled around on the kitchen floor and screamed for probably 5 minutes. I can't even describe how bad it was...it was BAD!
Aunt Holly gave Caleb his first haircut before we left on 11/8/10 . Bye bye, sweet baby curls!
Thanks, Aunt Holly!
Caleb has started crawling into the kitchen cabinets now...
and finally, some outtakes from our bear pictures...

Caleb's eating sounds just like Kolby! That's the age his pickiness started and it has not improved yet. I'm still hopeful it will. Sometimes I can sneak in meat by "hiding" it in a roll...he loves bread.
He's a cutie!! I can't believe he's only about half a pound heavier than Isaiah.
