Well, since I don't have anything else to do, I will write another update!
I've been on the (oral) albuterol since 9:45am this morning. They just monitored my contractions for a couple hours and by the end of the monitoring period, the contractions had spaced out some to about every 6-7 minutes. The new plan (b/c it keeps changing!) is to keep me another night and to watch/observe/monitor me and see what happens as I'm taking the albuterol (every 6 hours).
They will check for cervical changes in the morning and we'll go from there.....
