Made With Love
Aubrey got the neatest gift for her birthday....a quilt made by my Aunt Jackie with squares hand-stitched by my Nanny Isaacks. Nanny, who is actually my sister, Stephanie's grandmother (her dad's mom) has always treated us like her own blood-related grandkids. She is so sweet and cooks the best chicken and dumplins ever! Apparently she also hand stitches adorable bonnet girl quilt squares and then forgets about them for years and years, LOL. She doesn't remember when she made them, but I think sometime in the 70's or maybe the 80's? She found them and asked Jackie to make a quilt for Aubrey. How sweet is that?! We will cherish this forever! We went to visit Nanny so she could see how it turned out...

I love her quilt...it's so pretty. I have an old dutch girl quilt from my great grandma and I love it too!
What a treasure. My great grandmother made one my mother has on her bed. When my daughter was young her grandmother crocheted big squares then embroidered the girl on to the squares for a blanket. It's a treasurel
