{27 Weeks} - Baby #3

Well, unfortunately I have missed two weeks in a row.  We moved a few days after my last update and I have been a little busy!  I will actually be 29 weeks tomorrow (3/18) but here is my 27 week post.  Oh, and I realized that I shared her name on Facebook but not on the blog.  Our precious girl is named Reese Ainsley!  Since people always ask…..no, neither name is a family name.  Reese was actually Rhett’s choice for a girl name with Aubrey but I won out on that one.  :-)  I let him have it this time, but I picked the middle name.  I saw it while searching for girl names and thought it was a pretty and unique name.  We are very much looking forward to meeting our sweet Reese!

How Far Along: 27 weeks, 5 days

Size of baby:  weighs almost 2 pounds (like a head of cauliflower) and is about 14 1/2 inches long with her legs extended. (according to www.babycenter.com)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: um……I might have gained 10 pounds since my last appointment a month ago.  (so that would be 29 1/2 pounds total).  I was so happy when I’d only gained 2 pounds last time and then when I stepped on the scale this time, I was a bit surprised!  I will say that I have been having some swelling so I am going to say some of it is water weight!

Movement:  She’s moving a decent amount, but I do feel like she might be my least active baby….either that, or I am just too busy with the other two and the move that I am not noticing it as much!
Sleep: Not great…the usual!

Symptoms:  Bathroom breaks every hour, lots of achiness, exhaustion, some sciatic pain on the left side, starving all the time, restless sleep, a little swelling in my feet and ankles….all the wonderful aspects of being pregnant!  This move is taking it’s toll on me physically and I have just been dragging!

What I miss: feeling normal!

Cravings: sweets.  It’s bad.  Oh, and fruit – mostly strawberries (which is good, right?!)

Best moment this week:  Her kicks getting stronger

What I am looking forward to:  getting completely unpacked so maybe I can stay off my feet some, but that is not gonna happen this week.  My goal is to be unpacked completely by 32 weeks!
