{32 Weeks} - Reese

I guess I didn’t do a 32 week comparison between Caleb and Aubrey because I can’t find it….so just a belly shot from this week.  Wow, I really have to start taking these pics first thing in the morning instead of at 10pm!  Woof!  LOL


How Far Along: 32 weeks, 6 days

Size of baby: weighs 3.75 pounds (about the size of a large jicama) and is about 16.7 inches long, (according to www.babycenter.com)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 32 lbs as of my 32 week appointment

Movement:  She is moving like crazy and is most active in the late evening and before bed. 

Sleep: Not great…the usual!  I get up to pee so many times it is rediculous.

Symptoms:  All the normal stuff and the newest is tingling/numb hands.  I don’t remember having this with the other two.  I read that this can happen when you’re retaining fluids and my hands (and feet) have definitely been swelling.  For some reason, my wedding band is easier to get off my finger than my engagement ring so I have just been wearing it.  I do not want to get my rings stuck on my fat, swollen fingers!


What I miss: Going more than 30 minutes without peeing, ha!

Cravings: cereal.  I eat Multigrain Cheerios for breakfast and then often, Smacks for an afternoon snack!

Best moment this week:   I had my 32 week appointment on Monday.  Since I dilated early (found out at 34 weeks) with Aubrey, Dr. Tran wanted to start checking early this time.  She said I was a “fingertip” dilated but everything else is good.  She suggested I “take it easy as much as possible” which with a 3 and 1 year old, is nearly impossible!  Good to know that I’m ok as of now, though.  I go back at 34 weeks and she will check me again.

What I am looking forward to: Seriously, I need to get Reese’s room ready and order a few things for her!  We have almost everything, but there are a few items that I tossed after using with both Caleb and Aubrey (wipes warmer that got ratty and bottle drying rack that was icky, for instance)….and I should probably buy some newborn diapers!  Also need to find a new kind of video monitor as 2 of the 3 we have don’t work properly.  Rhett started building a closet organizing system for her closet but he’s been so busy with work and we’ve had other Sunday school-related gatherings that he hasn’t been able to finish it.  And….I need to get the basinet we are borrowing from the Bercaws so she’ll have a place to sleep!  So basically, what I’m saying is that I’m looking forward to getting all of this squared away…….hopefully before she gets here!  Things are so different with the 3rd….
