27 weeks, 6 days:
The day of my appointment last week (May 20th) was also my handsome and youthful husband's 27th birthday! He took the day off as well, so it was nice. After the appointment, we went to Meyerland Plaza to return something at Express and got a few things at Bath & Body Works. I love their foam handsoaps, so I always have to get a few more when they're on sale. *sidenote - I also bought 2 of those "wallflowers" (plug-in, smell-good things) and tried them out. I think my house might be too small for their potent aroma! Maybe it is my pregnancy super sense of smell, but I felt like I was choking on the scent every time I took a breath! I unplugged them after just a day. I may have to plug them in for short amounts of time only. We'll see. It might have been a waste of $12. I'm curious to know if anyone else has experienced this or if it's just me...
Anyway, after Meyerland we went to lunch at Raisin' Canes...we love that place! I was 1st introduced to it in Baton Rouge & we were so excited when they opened some Houston locations. They have the best chicken fingers and Cane's sauce...mmm! After lunch, we came home and chilled out the rest of the afternoon. That night, we went out to a birthday dinner with our small group friends (minus the Smiths) at a place in the Heights called Patrenella's. It was really good! (I had lasagna and Rhett got spaghetti). We took a few pictures, but I need to get them from the Cantrells (will have to post later). After dinner, we went back to the Hill's house for homemade blackberry cobbler with ice cream....delicious! (I wish I could say that I made it for my husband, but I can't ...it was made with love by our friend Josh Hill!) We then watched the American Idol finale & we were all super excited that Kris Allen won!!! It was a nice day off & I'm glad I got to spend it with my best friend celebrating his birthday. :o)
Later on this week, I'll try to post our San Antonio pics and also blog about our Memorial Day weekend. This is enough for one night...it's bedtime! In the meantime, you should check out this video of Kris Allen leading worship at his home church in Arkansas. It is awesome! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=et9I11JCqgE

Looking good cuz! Hang in there. It will be over before you know it and then the real fun begins. Hope you and your better half are getting plenty of sleep. You're going to need it.
LOL
You look so cute! I LOVE the wallflowers, you will get use to them :) The trick is to by them when they are on sale for 5 dollars, then they smell a lot better :)
