Our Sunday School class had a "Day in the Park" yesterday. It was at Alexander Deussen Park near Lake Houston, which as it turns out, is a very nice and huge park. They have lots of play areas, fishing, plenty of space to roam around, and even a herd of buffalo. Most of the group made the hike to see the buffalo, but we made it about halfway and turned around b/c the mosquitos were getting really bad...not to mention it was blazing hot! Other than that, we cooked out (hamburgers and hotdogs) and spent some time relaxing and visiting in the shade. Rhett, Caleb, and I stayed out there for probably about 2 hours and then just couldn't take the heat anymore...plus, it was Caleb's nap time. We tested out the beach shade tent we bought for our trip to Panama City Beach and it worked great. Here are a few pictures we took....
playing in the shade tent...
I guess Isaiah didn't want Caleb messing with him, LOL

probably b/c Caleb tries to bite Isaiah's head every time they play, haha!
