Bathroom Breakfast

Ok, so I have a confession.  Some mornings, Caleb eats his breakfast in the bathroom!  I promise you that I don't consider this to be normal, but when you're still trying to adjust to life with two kids, you will do whatever works!  Tuesday and Thursday mornings in our house right now are kinda hectic.  These are the days that Caleb goes to MDO and we have to leave the house by 9am.  You wouldn't think it'd be all that difficult to accomplish this, but when you have a baby to nurse and a 2-year-old to feed and get ready - it is a lot of work!  Oh, and I do have to get myself dressed too!  A lot of these mornings, I do not even have time to take a shower (another confession!) but I generally try to at least throw on some makeup so I don't scare anyone at his school - ha!  So while I'm making myself presentable or taking a shower if I have a little extra time, he will sit on the rug and eat his breakfast.  This isn't every Tuesday and Thursday morning.  Sometimes when it is time for him to eat, I am feeding Aubrey so he will eat sitting on the ottoman in the living room while watching Mickey or Handy Manny.....that's my third and final confession for this post - he does sometimes eat breakfast sitting in front of the TV - something I swore I would never let him do...but sometimes in parenting, you have to eat your words!
