A few days before Thanksgiving, I did this little project with Caleb. I found this coloring sheet online (wish I'd saved the link, but I can't find it. thought I pinned it, but guess not). It says "I'm Thankful For..." and then you fill in the blanks. He is really too young to truly understand what being thankful means, so I couldn't just ask him outright and get an answer. Instead, I prayed with him like we do at night saying "thank you, God, for....." and he will rattle off a list of people and things! Like I said, I know he doesn't really know the true meaning of being thankful, but you have to start somewhere, right? It is so sweet to hear him praying and thanking God for his family, friends...and toys and random things around his room, LOL! I know that God hears his sweet prayers even when he doesn't fully comprehend what praying is all about or what exactly he is saying. ANYWAY! Sorry, I got off on a tangent there. So, we said "Dear God, we thank you for....... Jesus, Bible, Colson, Daddy, school, Andrew, church!" I love how his first two answers were Jesus and the Bible! Colson and Andrew are friends from school that he talks about all the time. Mama did not make the cut, but that's ok....for now anyway. :-)
He does most things with his left hand...
...but he will also use his right hand, too. We are wondering if he will be ambidextrous like his Uncle Josh.
I asked him to hold up the paper and smile for the camera, and this is what I got...
Thanksgiving Day with the cousins...Luke (6), Caleb (2), Jake (12) and Aubrey (almost 4 months)
Wow. Caleb needed a haircut!
Stephanie, Courtney and me
first Thanksgiving as a family of 4!
Granny and Papa (or is it Pawpaw? I haven't figured out how to spell that one yet, ha!)
Caleb and Jake playing
Checking out all the crazy loud people! :-)
Hmm...not sure about all this, Mama!
