32 Weeks - Aubrey

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 32 weeks, 5 days

Size of baby:  weighs about 3.75 pounds (like a large jicama) and is about 16.7 inches long (according to babycenter.com)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I've gained 25.5 lbs total as of my 32-week appointment this past Thursday (I gained 2 lbs between 30 and 32 weeks).

Maternity Clothes: of course!  I had to go shopping again, this time for a dress to wear to Rhett's sister's wedding rehearsal that's coming up in 2 weeks.  In my opinion, shopping for maternity clothes is not all that fun!
Gender: girl - Aubrey Lauren

Movement: she's still moving a lot and especially at night when I lay down for bed. She's been doing all kinds of flips and somersaults in there!
Sleep: no change here - sleep is pretty terrible, actually. I just cannot get comfortable and my hips hurt so much from laying only on my sides. and let's not forget how many times I have to get up to go to the bathroom....it's rediculous!
Symptoms: Still having all the fun aches and pains, peeing all the time (sometimes it seems like every 30 minutes I have to go), tiredness, and pretty sure I'm nesting (does that count as a symptom?!).  I just had some mild heartburn this week.  One night, I got a terrible leg cramp and my leg still hurt the next day.

What I miss: no change here - Having energy to wrangle Caleb, sleeping on my back, not peeing every 30 minutes, not waddling when I walk, being able to bend over without a lot of effort...the list goes on, ha! (but I wouldn't have it any other way)

Cravings: this week, I really wanted (and got) Golden Crisp cereal - yum!  and also, ice cream (but that's not new!)
Best moment this week:  I always say this, but hearing Aubrey's heartbeat (145 bpm).  It never gets old!  ....and not painting anything! :-)
What I am looking forward to:  3-day weekend coming up!  and getting some more things done around here.  I do have a little painting to do since Rhett is building Caleb some flat wall bookshelves, but they are small so it won't be too much work (and I can do it sitting inside where there's A/C!)

you are looking great! Can't believe she's almost here. I'm excited for you. I feel bad that I have yet to see Andrea's little one in person...*sigh*...maybe when yours i born I'll get to see both of them somewhere. ?? Thinking of you and hope you are feeling pretty good the next month!
