And here is a preview of my work in progress...Caleb's baby book. Everything on the front of the book is an "iron on" so it was super easy. I found some cute scrapbooking paper at Hobby Lobby that has cars on it, so that is what I used as the basis for the design. The colors are red, blue, and green. (Caleb's bedding is cars, trucks, and airplanes so it is fitting). I'm using a standard baby book that I bought at Wal-Mart as a template for all the pages. I didn't take pics of each page I have done, but here is a little sample of what it looks like so far:
Our nextdoor neighbor, Winnie, brought over a gift for Caleb on Sunday. This was actually the first time I've really talked to her, so I thought it was very sweet of her to make this for our baby boy! Rhett sometimes chats with her after he's cut the grass in the front yard, but I don't spend much time in the front yard...I'm not a very good neighbor, I guess! She quickly noticed my scrapbooking stuff sitting on our table, and told me that she also likes to scrapbook. Apparently, she can crochet too b/c she made Caleb a little blankie and hat. How sweet!
Well, I guess that's about all for now. I have my first baby shower this Saturday, so I will have plenty to post about next week! Tomorrow, I am going to my first physical therapy appointment. I really, really hope it helps. So far, things are not really improving. At work, I cannot sit up at the computer/phone all day long so I've been sitting on the couch in the lounge area doing the "final check" on prescriptions we are mailing out. I've been doing this for the past 3 days and I'm about to go nuts. I feel so isolated up there! Yesterday, I told our office manager that if things do not improve by next week, then next Friday will more than likely be my last day. I just don't want to push it if my body is telling me to chill. Even sitting on that couch all day is not entirely comfortable and I cannot lay down to check prescriptions! The original plan was for me to work 3 days a week starting the week of June 29th and going through July 24th. If the physical therapy really helps and I am able to sit comfortably at the computer all day, then I will most likely still do the part-time thing in July. Otherwise, that will be it for me as far as work is concerned. Ok, so that's all for now!
