Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch: this was a drive thru animal safari...really neat! We all enjoyed it, and I think this will be a great thing to do with Caleb some day! (it is fun for adults, too!) We saw lots of interesting animals (can't tell you the names of these things) and narrowly avoided an ostrich attack. Those things are aggressive...all I can say is keep your windows rolled up when you drive by them! We really liked the Zebras...or maybe they really liked us...or maybe it was the food pellets!
Here's one of us along the Riverwalk:
Tussaud's Plaza Wax Museum & Ripley's Believe it or Not: we have never been to either of these, and they both turned out to be cool.
Rhett & Batman:
and with his namesake, Rhett Butler! (from Gone with the Wind):
us at Hogwarts :o) Hermione got cut from the picture...
At Ripley's - largest tire in the world, I think??
Rhett measuring up to the tallest man in the world:
The Alamo: this one is self explanatory. We went to see an IMAX film before so that we could all brush up on our Alamo history. I have forgotten a lot of stuff since taking Texas history in middle school...sorry, mom! (my mom teaches TX history). Anyway, after the movie we walked the grounds of the Alamo w/an audio tour that we all rented. It was informative. Last time Rhett & I went to San Antonio by ourselves, we just roamed around and didn't really get anything out of it. This time, we did it right...nerd-style!
Mrs. Donna & Mr. Rich:
Caleb's 1st visit to the Alamo :o)
Well, that's all the pictures I have. We did have a really good time! Guess this was our last "vacation" before becoming parents. Next time around, we will have little Caleb in tow!
